Leg Up Therapeutic Riding Center

Volunteers can contribute to Leg Up in a variety of ways:

• They can assist by leading or sidewalking during lessons
• They help groom and saddle horses, clean stalls, maintain tack, and tidy the barn area
• They help with general maintenance, repairs, and improvements of the facility such as mowing or repairing fences
• They assist with office tasks such as photocopying or coordinating bulk mailings
• They assist with various fundraisers and special events
• Finally, volunteers work to keep Leg Up in the news by creating press releases and taking photographs
